Bank of America Merrill Lynch is advising the deal, which could grab hundreds of millions of dollars.?Possible interested technology companies include Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM), International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) , Oracle Corp (NASDAQ:ORCL) and Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC).

Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM) has acquired most of HaloIPT’s technology and other assets. All of HaloIPT’s team has joined Qualcomm’s European Innovation Development UK-based group.

Express scripts, Inc.?(NASDAQ:ESRX) has?agreed to cut?the $950 million termination fee to $650 million for its $29 billion Medco Health Solutions, Inc.?(NYSE:MHS) acquisition, according to a regulatory filing. The charge could remain at the higher number if either of the two parties change its merger recommendation.

After many negotiations, Landry’s has finally signed an agreement to purchase?McCormick & Schmick’s (NASDAQ:MSSR) for $131.6 million. The offer is $8.75 ?per share, representing close to a 30 percent premium of McCormick&Schmick’s closing $6.77 stock price on Monday.

WebMD Health Corp. (NASDAQ:WBMD) may look to the private equity arena for bids. The company appeals to these buyers thanks to its?record-high cash levels and low valuation.
